COSMELAN® PEEL
LEADING DEPIGMENTATION METHOD

Cosmelan®Peel Overview...

Skin pigmentation concerns are a growing, global issue that affects more than 90% of adults over the age of 40, regardless of skin color or ethnic background. Hyperpigmentation can have a negative psychological and emotional impact, affecting one's quality of life. Skin hyperpigmentation is caused by abnormal production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color, and is a consequence of uncontrolled, localized overproduction of melanin by the melanocytes, causing irregular skin coloration and dark spots. Skin discoloration is one of the most common reasons for visiting a cosmetic professional.

The Cosmelan® peel is a professional depigmenting treatment designed to eliminate dark spots on the skin while unifying the skin tone and enhancing luminosity. It is an intensive treatment with dual action: it both corrects and regulates hyperpigmentation, achieving short and long-term results. It is a chemical peel commonly used to treat facial pigmentation issues like melasma by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme in the melanin formation process, and unevenness on the face and neck.

The Cosmelan® formula contains an exclusive combination of active ingredients (azelaic acid, kojic acid, phytic acid, ascorbic acid, arbutin, and titanium dioxide) that act on all stages of the hyperpigmentation process to effectively eliminate existing hyperpigmentation, preventing both their reappearance and the appearance of new dark spots.

In addition to reducing hyperpigmentation for a clearer, even complexion, the Cosmelan® De-Pigmentation Peel imbues the skin with a dewy glow. It also boosts the production of collagen, which means an improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, and tone.

A consultation is required prior to treatment with Cosmelan®.
